Janesville Jets net their first win

BLAINE, Minn.—The Janesville Jets picked up their first win of the season Saturday.

Jordan Himley’s goal at 4:26 of overtime lifted Janesville to a 6-5 win over the Amarillo Bulls on the final day of the NAHL Showcase Tournament. Janesville finished 1-2-1 in the five-day tournament.

Himley finished with two goals and an assist for the Jets, while Robin Hoglund had two goals and two assists.

Brock Kautz picked up the win in net for Janesville.

The Jets open up the home portion of their NAHL schedule by hosting Coulee Region on Friday and Saturday night at the Janesville Ice Arena.
