MADISON--The sixth-ranked Janesville Parker girls golf team cruised past Madison West and Madison East in a Big Eight Conference triangular Wednesday at Odana Hills in Madison.

The Vikings, behind senior Taylor Wyss’ 4-over par 40, finished with a 174 total. West shot 199 and East 261.

“The girls were a little tired coming off the tournament at Beloit on Tuesday, but they did a nice job,” Parker coach Mary Ross said. “We know what we need to do to be more consistent as a team and what we need to work on.”

Mikayla Richards and Lindsey Ahrens each shot shot 44 for the Vikings, and Kailey McDade added a 46.

Parker competes at the Milton best-ball two-person scramble today at Oak Ridge.
