We would like to thank everyone who came out to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on Friday night at the Rock County 4-H Fairgrounds.  Twenty-seven teams raised over $75,000 in the fight against cancer.

Businesses that provided sponsorships and in-kind donations included Grainger, Mercy Health System, Biolife Plasma Services, Best Events, Sherman Sanitation, Angus Young Associates, Campbell Properties, Safelite Auto Glass, Park Place Chiropractic, Damrow Chiropractic, Pepsi Beverage, Blain’s Farm & Fleet, E&D WaterWorks, 105.9 The Hog, CW Mowers, Fetch Graphics, Grape Ape Entertainment, Gophers at the CaddyShack, Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse, Coldstone Creamery, LoriAnna’s Sweetlife Bakery, Racine Street Dairy Queen, Schnucks Supermarket, MMPR, Barb’s Flowers, Italian House, Kettering Street Walgreen’s and Jay’s Big Rolls. Many more businesses provided prizes and space to advertise the event. We appreciate all of them, but there isn’t space in this letter to thank them all.

Special thanks to Rock County RECAP, which provided workers to help us set up and tear down.

An event this size would never be possible without the support of dozens of businesses that step up to the plate every year.  Money raised by the Relay for Life funds research to find a cure for all cancers and fund programs such as “Look Good, Feel Better,” “Reach to Recovery” and “Road to Recovery” here in Janesville.

We are forever grateful for our supporters and those who participated in the event.  Thank you all!

Co-chairs, Relay for Life of Janesville
