Amanda Swanson and David Hwang were married July 15, 2017, at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral, San Francisco.

Their parents are Ellen and Dan Swanson, Janesville, and Julia and Charles Hwang, Pinellas Park, Florida.

Jennifer Lauren Wright-Irwin, childhood best friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Nick Hwang, brother of the groom, was the best man.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2004 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law in 2011. She is employed by Segal Consulting, San Francisco.

The groom graduated from Seminole High School, Seminole, Florida, in 1997 and received a degree in zoology from University of Florida in 2001. He is employed by AAA, Walnut Creek, California.

The newlyweds reside in San Francisco.
