Big thanks to everyone for participating in the Janesville Festival Foods Turkey Trot. We saw 660 participants on Thanksgiving Day at Craig High School for a 5-mile run and 2-mile walk, which benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Janesville, ECHO, and YMCA of Northern Rock County.

I would like to thank the sponsors: Alliance Laundry Systems, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, Green Bay Packers, Associated Bank, WIPFLI CPA’s & Accountants, KEMPS, Kellogg’s, U.S. Venture, Foley & Lardner LLP, Pepsi, Supervalu, Prophit Marketing, Nicolet Natural, Envano, OneTouchPoint, Solid Rock 94.1 WJJO, The Isthmus, and WISC-TV3.

Thanks also to the city of Janesville, the police and fire department, the Janesville School District, Craig High School’s assistant principal and custodial staff, Janesville Leisure Services, the Rock County Highway Department, and the homeowners along the course.

To Tracy Schroeder and Matt Gibson: Thanks for everything you did! To Tim Rutter, our race director: You are truly incredible! To all the volunteers, I want to send a heartfelt thank you. Thanks for giving back on Thanksgiving Day!

I want to thank Festival Foods’ generosity for making the event possible.
