JANESVILLE—Raymond and Arlene Brost will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the VFW Club in Janesville. No gifts, please.

Brost and the former Arlene Guk were married April 26, 1948, in Milwaukee.

Raymond is retired from a career as a certified public accountant. Arlene is retired as the chief operating officer of a family organization. Their family includes Mary Lou and John Donnelly of Clintonville; Nancy Ford of Walton, Kentucky; Michael and Michelle Brost of Arlington Heights, Illinois; Carol and Ray Briggs, Gloria Hidden, Judy Hanson, Steve Brost (deceased), David and Therese Brost, Lisa and Todd Moran and Sue and Wayne Hansen, all of Janesville. They also have 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
