Janesville Craig senior Zoie Steig notched a hat trick and Milton senior McKaylie Buescher posted her fifth shutout of the season as the Rock County Fury cruised to another victory Tuesday night.

The area girls co-op hockey team won 8-0 over the host Stoughton co-op Icebergs.

Steig set the tone for the Fury by scoring just 28 seconds into the game off an assist from Milton senior Ally Burke.

"It was all about playing our game and keeping it fast-paced and keeping penalties down. We only had one penalty," Fury coach Luke Steurer said. "It was just a great team effort all-around. We came out ready to play."

Milton senior Maggy Henschler continued her torrid scoring pace with a goal and three assists. Monroe freshman Anika Einbeck added a pair of goals.

Buescher stopped all 13 shots she faced.

Rock County hosts Green Bay East on Friday night in Monroe.
