Man arrested for intoxicated driving with juvenile in vehicle
A man was arrested on a felony charge of third-offense intoxicated driving with a juvenile passenger on Friday morning, the Rock County Sheriff's Office reported.
A deputy stopped a minivan driven by Joseph D. Rucker, 42, at 8:08 a.m. and arrested Rucker, according to a news release.
The van had a defective brake light and expired Illinois registration, according to the release.
The passenger was a 14-year-old boy.
Rucker also was cited for driving after revocation and violating an ignition-interlock device requirement.
A sheriff's office news release does not say where the arrest occurred and does not list Rucker's address. The Gazette was unable to contact officials Friday for information about the incident.
