The Minnesota Wilderness overcame a 3-1 deficit in the third period and defeated Janesville 4-3 in overtime in NAHL action at the Janesville Ice Arena on Saturday night.

Matthew Doyle, Tanner Polglaze and Jakov Novak each scored goals for the Jets. Novak’s goal came 37 seconds into the third period and put Janesville ahead 3-1.

But the Wilderness came back with a power-play goal and another goal with just over five minutes remaining.

In overtime, Novak was whistled for abuse of an official, and that opened the door for the winning Wilderness goal on the power play.

Jets goalie Daniel Lebedefff made 27 saves.

The Jets will be at home next weekend. Janesville hosts the Brookings Blizzard on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7 p.m.
