TOWN OF BELOIT—Authorities are reporting road closures after a two-vehicle crash with at least one person pinned in a vehicle near Beloit.

According to a Rock County 911 dispatcher, the crash occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday at County Q and Highway 213 in the town of Beloit.

According to emergency radio communications, a vehicle and a semitrailer truck apparently collided.

One of the occupants of a vehicle apparently was pinned inside, and an occupant was being described as a “possible pulseless nonbreather,” according to radio communications.

Part of a semitrailer truck was leaning against a utility pole that had been snapped off in the crash. The semitrailer truck was perched against a loose electrical wire from the pole, and one of its fuel tanks was pierced, according to radio communications.

Highway 213 and Beloit-Newark Road were being blocked off as emergency responders arrived at the scene, and officials were considering other road closures in the area.

The Gazette will update this report.
