JANESVILLE—Police announced Wednesday afternoon that a man whose welfare they were worried about is OK.

Police said they had received information that Bradley A. Schultz is in no danger.

Police on Wednesday morning asked the public’s help in finding Schultz after they found clothing and a prescription pill bottle belonging to Schultz along the east bank of the Rock River in downtown Janesville.

Police Lt. Terry Sheridan said earlier that Schultz was homeless, and police were checking a tip that Schultz might have gone to Madison and checked into a homeless shelter.
