Joseph J. Ashe, age 76, passed away on November 12, 2017. He was born on September 24, 1941, in Madison, WI. Joe was a devoted husband, father and "Papa." He was a talented craftsman, who worked 42 years as a bricklayer and superintendent for Monona Masonry, and spent his retirement creating many beautiful pieces of wood furniture for his family. He also enjoyed landscaping his yard.

Joe is survived by Donna (Sperry) Ashe, his wife of 48 years; his children, Jeanne (Jamie) Nastali and Jennifer (Eric) Eckerman; his grandchildren: Tyler (Knsty) and Joshua (Kara) Dohs, Garret Nastali, Gavin and Adeline Eckerman; great-grandchildren: Kendra, Hunter, Aubrey and Aerabella; siblings: Mike (Pam) Ashe, Chuck (Jean Olsen) Ashe, Mary (Mike) Mcllwee and Paul (Kris) Ashe; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene (Ruth) Sperry, Betty Broge, Dale (Toni) Sperry and Joyce (Jim) Belter; and numerous nieces; nephews; extended family; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Ashe; his father and mother-in-law, Dale and Irene Sperry; and brothers-in-law, Norbert (Cheryl) and Gary Sperry.

Per Joe's wishes, there will be no services, and a private burial service will be held at a later date.
