Carol Lee Rippberger, 69, of Edgerton, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Carol was born on May 7, 1948 in Edgerton, to the late Leon and Bertha (Wittig) Bosbon. She graduated from Edgerton High School with the Class of 1966. On November 11, 1967, Carol would marry Richard Rippberger, and they just celebrated 50 years of marriage. She worked at the Nunn Bush shoe factory, and later at the Edgerton Hospital as a dietician until she retired in 2010. Carol loved to go to Ho-Chunk and play the slot machines and also loved her scratch off lottery tickets.

Carol is survived by her husband, Richard Rippberger of Edgerton; grandson, Nicholas Lee Stephens of Janesville, WI; brothers, Chuck (Georgia) Bosbon of Stoughton, Bill (Patti) Bosbon of Edgerton; nieces and nephew: Kyle, Sammi, Desirae, Gabbi; and a best friend, Geri Lochner; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa; and a brother, Robert “‘Boz” Bosbon.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Edgerton with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the services at Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home, from 11 a.m. until the start of the services.
