Intoxicated driving arrest
—WILLIE R. MILLER, 64, of Beloit, at 12:57 p.m. Saturday at 228 E. Racine St., Janesville, on a charge of third-offense OWI. Janesville police say Miller was involved in a single-vehicle crash.
—BATTERY AND ROBBERY at 1:46 a.m. Sunday at 1300 S. Jackson St., Janesville. A man reported he was “jumped” while walking home from a bar and had about $400 stolen from him. The man told police a suspect hit him several times in the face and head, causing the man to need facial surgery.
—DANIEL CORDOVA, 25, of 1804 South Shore Drive, Delavan, with repeater counts of theft and misdemeanor bail jumping. Lake Geneva police say on Sept. 4, Cordova stole a gun from people he knew. Janesville police on Oct. 6 had located the gun in a safe inside the home of a heroin overdose they responded to.
—ROBERT A. DAVIS, 24, of W206 Lake St., Genoa City, with battery and disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater, which changes those misdemeanor charges to felonies. Bloomfield police say on Oct. 22, Davis pushed a woman he knows to the ground after she asked him to clean the stove.
—BOSTON J. HUBBERT, 34, of Milwaukee, with escape. Walworth County sheriff’s deputies say on June 15, Hubbert was supposed to return to the jail from work release but did not return on time.
—WILLIE D. SAENZ, 18, of 1848 Steeple Drive, East Troy, with possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Village of East Troy police say on Oct. 22 they conducted a traffic stop and found Saenz with 64 grams of marijuana and $705 in cash.
—NICOLE R. VAN ACKER, 35, of Palmyra, Wisconsin, with second-offense attempt possession of narcotic drugs. Elkhorn police say between Jan. 26 and 27 Van Acker was supposed to buy seven to 10 baggies of heroin from Jason Wedell, 35, of Janesville, who last month pleaded guilty in a separate case where he delivered the heroin that killed a man in Elkhorn.
