Karen Mae Lee, age 75, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, in her home. She was born November 25, 1941, to the late Wilber and Ruth (Van Haden) Bernhardt in Tomah, WI. Karen was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1959. She worked at Regal Beloit Corporation, retiring in 2005. Karen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, dancing, antiques, and the Green Bay Packers. She loved her family of pets over the years, Callie her cat, and Joey her dog.
She is survived her two brothers, James Patch and family and John Patch and family; her long time friend and companion, Thomas Herold; his eight children, Shannon (Jose) Alatorre, Sally (Tony) Brizzolara, Shelley (Michael) Yancey, Holly (Robert) Charlier, Terrill (Kevin) Smith, Thomas P. Herold, Tracie (Tobin) Mansfield and Tricia (Robert) Weishan; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Jerry Patch.
Karen’s Funeral Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Following the visitation, the cortege will proceed to Eastlawn Cemetery for interment with Rev. Randy Senn officiating. Memorials in her name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Ev.
