Footville woman arrested on fifth OWI charge
JANESVILLE—Janesville police arrested a Footville woman early Sunday morning on a charge of fifth-offense OWI after suspecting she hit a legally parked car, according to a police news release.
Janesville police at about 12:42 a.m. responded to a report of a traffic crash in the 1700 block of South Willard Avenue, according to the release. Police report Sharon J. Rowley, 76, of 303 Edward St., drove the vehicle and showed signs of impairment.
After receiving treatment at a local medical facility for non-life-threatening injuries from the crash, Rowley was held for court at the Rock County Jail, according to the release.
Results of Rowley's blood test are pending, the release stated.
