Gary L. Wiser, born September 29, 1948 in Viroqua, WI, died October 29, 2017. He was the son of the late Ardith and Ellen (Ely) Wiser. He was an owner operator of his own semi, and later worked at General Motors, from which he retired. He loved to do woodworking, watch the Packers, and being the Mayor of the Sweet Mini Ha Ha Campground, where he made many good friends.

Gary survived by Judy Hatlen and his dog, Doc; his three children: Josh (Bekah) Wiser (children: Brynna, Braly, and Braden), Jamie (Carla) Wiser, Malcolm and Isiah and Jared (Angie) Wiser (and children Jaycie and Lydia). He is also survived by sisters: Andrea (Jim) Boardman, Carolyn Vale, and Peggy (Rick) Krueger; and brothers, Terry and Jerry Wiser; nieces and nephews. Gary is further survived by extended family: Brian (Carrie) Roberts (children: Brittany, Hanna, and Collin Roberts), Jamie (Amy) Andersen (children: Chase, Riley and Miranda Andersen). Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Junior.

Per Gary's request there will be no services or visitation, and memorials be made to the Cooksville Lutheran Church. It was his wish to be cremated. Burial will be in the Cooksville Cemetery.
