JANESVILLE—Several streets on the city's northeast side will undergo resurfacing Tuesday, Oct. 24, through Tuesday, Oct. 31, according to a city news release.

The streets are:

--Randolph Road from Revere Lane to North Claremont Drive

--Creston Park Drive from North Randall Avenue to about 130 feet east of North Randall Avenue

--Village Court from the cul-de-sac of Morningside Drive to Morningside Drive

--Spruce Court from Morningside Drive to the cul-de-sac west of Morningside Drive

--Morningside Drive from Curry Lane to Randolph Road

--Curry Lane from North Wright Road to Morningside Drive

The streets will remain open during the work, but drivers are encouraged to reduce speed through work areas and use alternate routes when possible, according to the release.

Public bus routes will detour the East Milwaukee Street route Thursday and Friday, Oct. 26 and 27.

From Morningside Drive, buses will go east on Canyon Drive to Laramie Lane, northeast on Laramie Lane and north on La Mancha Drive/Quixote Drive to Randolph Road before resuming the normal route. Buses from the other direction will use the same detour in reverse, according to the release.

The bus stops at Green Forest Run and Morningside Drive and Morningside Drive and Randolph Road will be closed during the detour. Instead, riders can use temporary stops at Canyon and Morningside drives and Quixote Drive and Randolph Road, according to the release.
