Parker falls to Waukesha South in Week 10 game
Grayson Cooley threw two first-half touchdowns and added two short scoring dives, leading the Waukesha South Cardinals to a 34-20 win over the visiting Janesville Parker Vikings in a nonconference game Thursday.
Seamus Murphy had a big night for Parker (1-9), running for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. The senior also caught a 63-yard touchdown from Jordan Bailey to cut South's lead to 26-20 with 10:02 left in the fourth quarter.
Cooley scored on a 1-yard run with 5:56 left to distance the Cardinals. Cooley threw a 27-yard touchdown to Adam Kile to open the scoring and found Drew Martner from 3 yards out for the only score of the second quarter. Cooley also ran for 138 yards.
