—BURGLARY, reported at 3:59 p.m. Tuesday on the 1700 block of North Concord Drive, Janesville. A woman told Janesville police a gold necklace handed down by her recently deceased father was missing, although no other items were missing and there were no signs of forced entry.
—MICHAEL R. CADD, 19, of 5829 N. McWilliam Lane, Milton, with burglary, misdemeanor theft and forgery. Rock County sheriff’s deputies say on Monday, Cadd admitted to entering a town of Milton home without permission taking three checks and cashing one of them at a local bank for $300.
—CENTER AVENUE NORTH OF MCKINLEY STREET, JANESVILLE, at 7:04 p.m. Monday when a car driven by Mark A. Neuenfeldt, 53, of 661 N. Sandy Lane, No. 313, Elkhorn, struck two pedestrians, a 12-year-old Janesville girl and Demetric M. Studamire, 42, of 304 S. High St., Janesville, who were crossing outside a crosswalk in front of Roman’s gas station. Studamire declined treatment and the girl, who was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, had suspected minor injuries.
—WRIGHT ROAD NORTH OF SANDHILL DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 8:27 a.m. Oct. 5 when a car driven by Basri Mehmeti, 74, of 2407 Holiday Drive, No. 6, Janesville, accidentally accelerated instead of braking and rear-ended a car driven by Howard E. Widner, 76, of 3904 Churchill Road, Janesville. Basri Mehmeti and his passenger, Labinete Mehmeti, 35, were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with possible injuries. Basri was cited for inattentive driving.
—KRYSTAL G. RODRIGUEZ, 29, of 518 Wisconsin St., Lake Geneva, with party to felony retail theft, misdemeanor bail jumping and resisting an officer. Lake Geneva police say on Oct. 5, Rodriguez attempted to steal $779.86 worth of items from Wal-Mart and later tried to run from police.
