She enjoyed family vacations and the many camping trips to state parks. She had the most fun canoeing, hiking and swimming with her sisters and brother. Fishing with Dad was the best. She loved her nieces and nephews and spent much time with them babysitting and taking them to the park to play. Katie loved her high school girlfriends, and spent endless hours creating memories filled with love and laughter. Katrina met and married Scott Berry, moved to Kansas City, and then to Texas. Katrina earned a nursing degree at Hill College (Texas), she was an eager student with a love of physical science, earning straight A's. She loved helping the sick, becoming a CNA while going to school, working with the elderly brought her much joy. Katie loved to travel with her husband, taking many trips to the desert and the coast. She especially loved the ocean side and the beach, where she would walk in the waves and bask in the sun. In 2007, Katrina became a mother of her only daughter, who was the light of her life. The happiest days of her life were when her daughter was born. She would spend her days caring for "Bella," playing with her, loving her, delighting in each and every moment with her. Katrina loved her family, and she will be greatly missed by all who remember the loving girl she was.
