Rock County

Accidents

601 W. MILWAUKEE ST., JANESVILLE, at 1:55 p.m. Saturday when Jacqueline J. Nundahl, 61, of 1456 S. Washington St., Janesville, backed her car out of a parking stall and hit a parked pickup truck in which Roger L. Ripp, 67, of 7210 W. St. Lawrence Ave., Beloit, was sitting. Ripp was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

Arrests

A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL at 2 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily injury.

Reported

BURGLARY reported at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Mohican Road, Janesville. A cellphone was reported stolen. It was later found and returned.

Charged

BILLY MATHIS, 47, of 239 Dawson Ave., town of Beloit, with physical abuse of a child intentionally causing bodily harm. He is accused of repeatedly hitting a 16-year-old he knows with a belt at his residence the night of Sept. 6.

Walworth County

Charged

ALEXANDER C. BAKAKOS, 28, of 1139 Williams St., Lake Geneva, with theft of movable property and misdemeanor theft. Town of Geneva police say on Sept. 22, Bakakos stole $4,554.89 worth of tools from a toolbox belonging to Geneva Lakes Ford, where Bakakos had recently quit his job.

RYAN R. GALGANSKI, 30, of W985 Geranium Road, Genoa City, with physical abuse of a child, disorderly conduct and battery, the latter two with domestic abuse assessments. Police say on Oct. 3, Galganski punched a mirror, forcibly removed a ring from a woman's finger and "flicked" the private parts of a young child he knows.

MATTHEW S. VOIGHT, 35, of 533 Spring St., Lake Geneva, with burglary. Lake Geneva police say between June 19 and 20, Voight broke into the American Legion Canteen in Lake Geneva and stole a Bose speaker worth about $250. Police say dried blood found on the door was a DNA match for Voight.
