Rock County


JUDGE O. WOODFIN, 36, of 1324 Sixth St., Beloit, at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday at 200 E. Highway 14, Janesville, on a charge of armed robbery.


BURGLARY reported at 5:08 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of North Lexington Drive, Janesville. Cellphones, tablets, medication and cash worth an estimated $3,750 were reported stolen.

BURGLARY reported at 5:45 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Lucerne Drive, Janesville. A video game console, television, two cellphones and other items worth an estimated $2,100 were reported stolen.


LEXINGTON DRIVE AND NEWMAN STREET, Janesville, at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 25. A vehicle driven by Joyce A. Alsteen, 60, of 339 S. Randall Ave., Janesville, failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by Juan A. Garcia, 22, of 2735 Sylvester St., Janesville. Alsteen was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for her injuries. Alsteen was cited for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. Garcia was cited for operating without insurance and operating while revoked.

ROCKPORT ROAD AND LINN STREET, Janesville, at 5:16 p.m. Sept. 28. A vehicle driven by Robert L. Yarolimek, 83, of 525 Chestnut St., Janesville, struck a 10-year-old boy who was attempting to cross the street on his bicycle. The 10-year-old was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for his injuries. No citations were issued.

Walworth County


BRENNA L. ROESLER, 20, of W2793 County D, Elkhorn, with possession of narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia. Village of East Troy police say on Sept. 25, Roesler was swerving on the roadway near Interstate 43 and Highway 20 and when police stopped her, she had heroin and related paraphernalia in her possession. An officer also said he recognized her from a July rescue call where she had overdosed on heroin.

STEVEN A. WAYCHOFF, 33, of 219 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, with second-offense possession of cocaine. Elkhorn police say on July 26 they stopped Waychoff who had a needle with cocaine inside.
