Burglar takes jewelry from downtown Janesville store
JANESVILLE—A burglar took jewelry with an estimated value of $10,000 from Dubes Jewelry on Sunday night, according to a Janesville police report.
Officers responded to a report of an alarm at 11:25 p.m. Sunday at Dubes Jewelry, 21 W. Milwaukee St., according to a news release from the police department.
Officers found the store’s glass doors smashed, according to the news release.
The burglar left before police arrived, according to the release.
Evidence was collected from the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
