—JUSTIN WADE ECKERT, 21, no known address, at 7:54 a.m. Friday at 1401 S. Osborne Ave., Janesville on charges of felony burglary, theft of movable property, causing substantial injury to a police officer, receiving stolen property and probation violation.


—BURGLARY to a residence on the 900 block of Church Street, Janesville, reported at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. An unknown burglar reportedly entered through the garage door with force. A 55-inch LG 3D television and about $100 in change were reported stolen.

—COUNTERFEITING at Panera Bread, 2753 Milton Ave., reported at 9:24 a.m. Thursday. A $20 bill with words “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” printed on the front and back was passed.

—EMBEZZLEMENT reported at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday at Little Caesars Pizza, 5 S. Harmony Drive, Janesville. Cody T. Zadoka, 27, of 139 S. Harmony Drive, reportedly stole $80 from the restaurant’s safe. He was an employee at the restaurant.

—FIRE reported at 2:58 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Cleophas Road and Paddock Road, town of Beloit. A combine reportedly started on fire 75 feet off the road. No injuries or major damages to the combine were reported.

—VANDALISM to Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory, 1900 E. Racine St., Janesville, reported at 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Items were reportedly left on the funeral home’s sign.


—JASON P. HOCKMUTH, 38, of 2011 N. Sumac Drive, Janesville, with operating with restricted controlled substance in blood, possession of narcotics and three counts of bail jumping. He is accused of driving with an undetermined drug in his blood Thursday on Sandalwood Court in Milton, after being ordered to stay sober as part of his bond in three Manitowoc County Court cases, and of possessing a small amount of methamphetamine.

Walworth County


—HAILEY M. BELES, 18, of W7601 Rowley Road, Delavan, with possession of narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia. Whitewater police say on June 13, they found syringes, Naloxone and heroin in an apartment Beles had recently moved from.

—MATTHEW J. STOVICH, 33, of N6959 Oak Lane, Elkhorn, with four counts of uttering a forgery. Elkhorn police say in July, Stovich forged four checks amounting to thousands of dollars.

—DAVID L. TWAITE, 31, of 829 Odsilla Way, Fontana, with second-offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams Bay police say on Aug. 4, they stopped Twaite and found him and a passenger of a car with several bags of marijuana ranging from 3.2 grams to 50.8 grams and $1,760 in cash in a box.
