Complaint: Elkhorn woman drove intoxicated while out on bond for sixth OWI charge
ELKHORN—An Elkhorn woman is accused of intoxicated driving while she was released on bond for a sixth-offense intoxicated driving charge from June, according to a criminal complaint filed in Walworth County Court.
Cynthia E. Hoffmann, 54, of 1222 S. Meadowlark Lane now faces her second sixth-offense OWI charge over a span of about three months.
Elkhorn police say Hoffmann drove while intoxicated at about 3:35 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 1100 block of East Maclean Road, Elkhorn, according to the latest complaint.
Hoffmann has previous OWI convictions for violations in 1996, 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2006, according to the complaint.
She pleaded not guilty July 3 to the June charge, which is connected to an April 28 incident, court records show.
She also now faces a felony bail jumping charge.
