Lois L. Moucha, age 87, of Janesville, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1930 in Eau Claire, WI, the daughter of William Herman and Ethel Olive (Higbee) Zempel. Lois was a 1948 graduate of Eau Claire High School, and a 1975 graduate of UW Whitewater. She married Gordon D. Moucha on December 27, 1952 in Eau Claire, he died on February 16, 1988. Lois was employed at Rock County Human Services in Beloit from 1977 until retiring in 1992. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Retired Teachers Association, Janesville Women’s Club the ABWA, and the Mayflower Society.

She is survived by her children: Geoffrey (Wanda) Moucha of Janesville, Linda Davis of Pittsfield, IL and Lynette Moucha of Des Plains, IL; two grandchildren, Ashley (Cory) Zoellick and Amanda (Thomas) Aegerter both of Janesville; one great-grandchild, Brady Zoellick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Raymond Zempel; a sister, Patricia Magnuson; and a son-in-law, Douglas Davis.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, with Rev. Felix Malpica presiding. Private interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
