GENOA CITY -- Police say three burglars -- one of them large enough to carry what was described as a large safe -- took $2,500 from Genoa City Foods on Monday night.

Surveillance video shows a silver, possibly two-door car backing up to the front door at approximately 11:45 p.m. Monday and three people getting out, breaking a glass window and entering the store, according to an alert by Genoa City police.

One of the burglars was described as a large person with light skin wearing a hoodie with the Macintosh apple logo on the front and a yellow shirt underneath, wearing black pants with a white stripe down the legs. This person is believed to have “a larger physical build” because he removed and carried the safe to a vehicle without help, according to the alert.

Two others were wearing dark gray or black hoodies, and one of them wore a possibly white scarf and black ski mask and pants or shorts with a white stripe on each leg.
