Robert Byrne, age 81, of Milton, died Friday, August 18, 2017 at home. He was born on September 10, 1935 in Delavan, WI, the son of Oliver and Ellna (Cass) Byrne. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Patricia Wagner on July 15, 1967 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Janesville. Robert was employed at GMAD and was a member of the UAW Local 95 Retirees. He enjoyed trains, photography, motorcycles and crafting.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; four children: Oliver (Sandy) Byrne of Dayton, OH, James Byrne of Madison, Tammy Byrne of Janesville and Dina Workman of Chicago; eight grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren; four siblings: John (Robbie) Byrne of Casa Grande, AZ, Dottie Byrne of Oregon, Richard Byrne of Staunton, VA and Kathy Vande Zande of Ft Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert Byrne.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
