—MELISSA J. HOPP, 36, of 2312 N. Concord Drive, Janesville, at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday at her home on a charge of theft of personal identifying information/documents.
—ASHLEY D. RORRER, 17, of 625 S. Franklin St., Janesville, at 2:26 p.m. Thursday at her home on charges of false imprisonment, disorderly conduct while armed and battery.
—HIGHWAY 14 NEAR DEERFIELD DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 5:50 p.m. Thursday when Michelle G. Koss, 30, of Kenosha was reportedly looking at her GPS before she rear-ended one car that then hit the car in front of it. Sharon L. Choppie, 53, of Cherry Valley, Illinois, and Carmin W. Choppie, 72, of Cherry Valley, Illinois, were treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center after complaining of neck and back pain. The two were occupants of the car in front.
—RUBEN SOTO, 53, of 221 N. Franklin St., Apt. J, Janesville, with attempted armed robbery, burglary of a building or dwelling with use of a dangerous weapon, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon, obstructing an officer and threat to family member of law enforcement officer. Janesville police say on Aug. 17, Soto, while appearing intoxicated, became upset when someone asked him to return $5, put a gun to the face of the man who originally owned the $5, asked for all the man’s money and later threatened an officer’s wife and child. The gun was later identified as an Airsoft gun, police say.
