Rock County

Charged

—ANDREW M. DAVIS, 23, of 619 Wilson Ave., Janesville, with four counts of forgery. He is a accused of forging signatures on stolen checks and cashing them at banks and a convenience store in Janesville, July 23-25.

—WILLIAM E. MITCHELL, 37, of W790 Mohns Clark Road, Brodhead, with strangulation/suffocation and battery as acts of domestic violence and threat to law enforcement officer. He is accused of hitting and kickng a woman he knows and grabbing her by the throat, and threatening violence to a police officer, on Saturday at a residence on North Pine Street, Janesville.

—RANDALL L. HATCHER, 37, of 1406 S. Grant Ave., Janesville, with fleeing a traffic officer and five counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. He is accused of fleeing a sheriff’s deputy who tried to stop his vehicle on on July 27 in the town of Fulton and continuing to Fort Atkinson on Highway 26 and of driving as fast as 150 mph and having several dangerous encounters with other vehicles and road workers along the way.

—CENTER AVENUE NEAR MARQUETTE STREET, JANESVILLE, at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday when Chad M. Scidmore, 28, of 1440 Canyon Drive, Janesville, was driving south on Center Avenue and tried to make a left turn. So he came to a stop and was hit from behind by Jeffery A. Herr, 55, of 8 Lapidary Lane, Janesville. Scidmore was treated and released at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital–Janesville for suspected minor injuries.

Walworth County

Charged

—ASHLEY M. CHASE, 28, of Burlington, with three counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana on or near a park. Walworth County sheriff’s deputies say in 2015, they conducted three controlled buys from Chase for 28.13 grams of marijuana in the town of Lyons.

—KYLE R. FRITTS, 20, of Mukwonago with possession with intent to deliver LSD on or near a park. Walworth County sheriff’s deputies say on April 14, 2016, they conducted a controlled buy of LSD from Fritts in Whitewater.
