Two local animal exhibitors win at Wisconsin State Fair

Two local livestock exhibitors won big at last week's Wisconsin State Fair, according to a news release.

Austin Lynd from Clinton won champion Chianina steer. Statewide Fencing and Interstate Parking bid $10,000 for Lynd's steer, according to the release.

Brady Meudt of Walworth County won in two categories—grand champion Hampshire market lamb and champion natural colored lamb.

Meudt's Hampshire lamb received $10,000 from Wal-Mart and was donated to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. His natural colored lamb received $4,000 from We Energies, according to the release.
