Rage improves to 7-1

Justin Fowlkes scored on two long plays in the first quarter to help Rock County down the host Madison Mad Dawgs 54-14 in Iron Athletes Football League action Saturday night.

The Rage improved to 7-1. Rock County hosts Kenosha at Milton High School next Saturday at 6 p.m.

Fowlkes scored on a 29-yard pass from Dan Roberts and then ran 82 yards for another score to put Rock County up 12-0 in the first quarter.

A.J. Fredricks scored on a 7-yard pass from Roberts and concluded the scoring with a 3-yard run.

Jermar Ayers caught a 6-yard scoring pass from Roberts and a two-point conversion pass from Fredricks.

Roberts finished 9 of 10 for 208 yards and four touchdowns. Brennon McElrath rushed 11 times for 100 yards, including a 2-yard scoring run.

Taylor Snell led the defense with seven tackles, including a sack. Nick Hammon added six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

Mike Hill had six tackles and returned a fumble 38 yards for a third-quarter touchdown.

C.J. Jackson, Devin Stokes, Deandre Harrell and Titus Jackson each had an interception.
