Michael T. Dooley age 67, died Friday July 7, 2017. He was born October 16, 1949, to LaVern and Phyllis (Saunders) Dooley in Janesville. He graduated from Turner High School, class of 1967, and completed his four year machinist apprenticeship through Fairbanks Morse. He worked for D-M Mfg as a supervisor for many years until his retirement in January of 2013. He married Kristie Harder on November 7, 1970, in Janesville. Mike enjoyed gardening, yard work, helping on the farm, baling & wrapping hay and caring for the goats. He also enjoyed restoring his 1964 Ford Galaxy convertible and was in the process of completing his 1930 Ford AA truck. Mike also had a fondness for attending truck and tractor pulls with his buddies and sharing a few beers at these events. He and Kristie also enjoyed many road trips throughout the Country. Mike was extremely proud of the accomplishments of his children and was the #1 supporter of O’Dools Dairy Goat Farm and the Ding-A-Ling Supper Club.

He is survived by his wife, Kristie Dooley of Orfordville; his mother, Phyllis Dooley of Beloit; his son, Aaron (Kimberly) Dooley of Orfordville; his daughter, Kyla (Jerrad) Wilke of Hanover; and his six grandchildren: Jaxon Dooley, Hannah & Levi Halterman, Jagger, Jemma, & Janncy Wilke.

He was preceded in death by his father, LaVern; and his brother, Steve.

Mike’s Funeral Service will be 12 p.m. Noon on Wednesday July 12, 2017, at the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home and again on Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in the Plymouth Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established in his memory. Please share a memory or a condolence with the family on our website.
