Marilyn Ann Kubsh, 85, of Rockton, IL, was called home to our Lord Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She died peacefully at her home. She was born March 28, 1932, in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Edwin and Minnie (Brakefield) Mutchler. Marilyn was a 1950 graduate of Janesville High School, Janesville, WI. Marilyn married Leroy Kubsh on October 4, 1952, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Janesville, WI. They moved to Beloit, WI, after they were married and lived there for 25 years prior to moving to Roscoe, IL. Marilyn and Leroy were founding members of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Beloit. Along with being a devoted wife and mother to her four children, Marilyn also volunteered as a teddy bear maker at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She greatly enjoyed vacationing with her family throughout the Midwest every summer.

Survivors include; four children: Joe (Patricia) Kubsh of Silver Spring, MD, Tom (Charlotte) Kubsh of St. Louis, MO, Jean (Larry Cullins) Kubsh of Rockton, IL and Bill (Dianne) Kubsh of Middleton, WI; six grandchildren: Cindy (Nick) Polys, Steve Kubsh, Amy (Ben) Clarridge, Genevieve Kubsh, Samantha Kubsh and Caroline Kubsh; three great grandchildren: Dan and Will Polys, and Norah Clarridge; siblings, Ed (June) Mutchler of Rockford, IL and Robert (Luz) Mutchler of Hot Desert Springs, CA.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Leroy and brother Richard Mutchler.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday July 15, 2017, at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 822 East Grand Avenue, Beloit, WI with Father John Hedrick officiating. Entombment will be in Mount Thabor Mausoleum, 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center, or a charity of your choice in Marilyn's name.
