Janesville's American Legion baseball team snapped a three-game losing streak Saturday by winning its final game at the Oconomowoc Tournament.

Post 205 drubbed Watertown 11-1 in five innings in its second game Saturday after losing 8-7 in nine innings to host Oconomowoc in the morning.

Janesville (10-8) was led by first baseman Hunter Yerke who had six hits in two games Saturday and six RBI.

"Hunter is really swinging the bat well right now," Janesville coach Wayne Van Zandt said. "Unfortunately, we've got to kid some other guys to start driving in runs or he's not going to see a lot of good pitches to hit.

"We had our chances against Oconomowoc but struck out 14 times. We left too many men on base."

Yerke had four RBI against Watertown, while Jadyn Ellis had a two-run triple to lead the rout.

Sam Nemetz, who will be a senior at Janesville Parker, threw a complete-game one-hitter.

"Sam ate up some innings for us and that's exactly what we needed," Van Zandt said.

"We lost two games in the last at-bat in this tournament, so it was good to get out of here with a big win in our last game."

Janesville hosts Waterford on Wednesday night at Riverside Park.
