September 23, 2009 - June 24, 2017

Ayden Christopher Wallman, age 7, of Janesville received his angel wings on Saturday, June 24, 2017, following a three-year battle with leukemia. Ayden born on September 23, 2009, the son of Adam and Charity (Acker) Wallman spent his final days at home. Born with a stubborn attitude, and given more willpower than any boy should need, fought until the end while bringing joy to many.

Ayden attended Adams Elementary School, with the support of his caring teachers and classmates. Ayden was determined, lovable, and full of life who enjoyed many things. Ayden loved the challenges of video games, and his determination showed in his desire to beat anyone. His viewing habits on YouTube were a reflection of his life. From his love of food challenges, to pranks, to making his videos, he was often happy curled up in a blanket with a drink and food, watching a video. His sense of humor was sharp, and he loved pulling pranks on people to show his love. When not cuddling with his mom, you would find him watching football and professional wrestling with his dad. He would playfully mimic the moves and storylines of his favorite wrestling against his father and brothers. He enjoyed watching movies, and preferred either superhero films, or to be scared by a thriller or horror movie. Mature beyond his age, he often was referred to as a teenager in a younger kid’s body.

Ayden is survived by his parents Adam and Charity Wallman; his brothers: Gavin, Kaleb, and Liham, all of Janesville; his grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

Memorial service honoring and celebrating Ayden’s life is at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017, at the Whitcomb – Lynch Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Amstutz officiating. Visitation will start at 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A special request that everyone wear a favorite superhero shirt or costume to show their support for our super-hero, Ayden. In lieu of flowers, donations made to his YouCaring page at www.youcaring.com/aydenwallman-843879 are greatly appreciated. More about his story is available at www.facebook.com/aydensarmy.

A very special thank you to the many doctors and nurses who oversaw his care that spanned three different locations. There are too many to name them all, but few stand out. Dr. Bryan who managed the majority of his care in Portsmouth, Virginia and Dr. Capitini in Madison, Wisconsin. Thank you also to the other caregivers that touched Ayden’s life in one way or another over the last three years. All of you are real angels!
