JANESVILLE--Curt Geller of Janesville is seeking World War II vets to honor in Janesville's Memorial Day parade.

“We are losing these men at a rapid rate,” Geller said. “I want to honor them while we still can. I want them to be recognized.”

The veterans will ride on a red, white and blue float decorated with U.S. flags and created by the late Mike Jones of Milton

Mike Drought of Janesville is caretaker of the float and working with Geller on the effort.

Vets who want to take part should call Geller at 608-756-1623.
