Jets off to Alaska after beating Ice Dogs

It’s off to Alaska for the Janesville Jets.

The Jets cruised to a 5-0 victory over Fairbanks at the Janesville Ice Arena on Saturday night to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five NAHL semifinal playoff series.

The teams now travel to Fairbanks where the final three games, if needed, will be played.

Hoffman scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Jets on Saturday night.

Jacob Barczewski made 23 saves in goal to ensure the shutout.

The next time the Jets would play at the Ice Arena would be in the Robertson Cup series.
