Randall J. “Randy” Householder, age 52, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Janesville, died unexpectedly Friday, April 14, 2017, at his home. He was born in Janesville on December 9, 1964, the son of James and Mary Alice (Lee) Householder and was a 1983 graduate of Craig High School. Randy had worked for various restaurants, UPS, and had driven for Uber, but was most known for performing in his bands at various clubs and venues in the Phoenix area. He enjoyed going to concerts and being around friends, always being the center of attention. He was a long-time fan of the Rolling Stones, Fleetwod Mac, and Van Halen among others. Music was his love and passion, whether it was listening to or watching it live, recording his own, or performing live for others to enjoy as well.

He is survived by his father, James (Betty) Householder of Janesville; six siblings: Lori Householder, Shelley Householder both of Janesville, James (Mary) Shuga of Milton, Sara Householder, Lisa DeVoe, and Heidi (fiance Sherman Morrison) Householder, all of Janesville; numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends, especially: Alberto, Michael, David, James, and Thurane, all of Phoenix. Randy also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Reynita and Pooga. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Householder; and a brother, John Shuga.

A Visitation to Celebrate His Life will take place on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St., (Hwy 51) Edgerton.
