Jets win playoff opener

Frank Sullivan got the NAHL playoffs off to a good start for the Janesville Jets on Friday night.

Sullivan's unassisted goal at 17:05 of the third period lifted Janesville to a 3-2 win over Coulee Region at the Janesville Ice Arena.

Janesville trailed 2-1 in the first period but scored the last two goals to win the first game of the five-game series.

Blake Wareham tied the game at 2-2 on an assist from Cullen Munson at 4:45 of the second.

Janesville outshot Coulee Region 30-15 and got 13 saves from Jacob Barczewski.

Game two of the playoff series is tonight at the Ice Arena.
