Man arrested on seventh intoxicated driving charge in town of Beloit
JANESVILLE—A West Allis man has been charged with seventh-offense intoxicated driving in connection with a town of Beloit traffic stop on Friday.
Dennis J. Martch, 61, was arrested around 9:41 p.m. Friday after a town of Beloit police officer stopped a minivan Martch was driving because its headlights were not on, according to the criminal complaint.
The stop occurred near the corner of Park and Bayliss avenues.
Martch had a restriction on his license requiring he not exceed a blood alcohol content of 0.02, but a preliminary breath test showed 0.13, according to the complaint.
Martch's previous intoxicated-driving convictions occurred from 1991 to 2003, according to the complaint.
