Family Respite Care gets $16,000 in grants

Family Respite Care Services received an $11,000 grant from the United Way Blackhawk Region and a $2,000 grant from the William J. Cronin Foundation.

The grants will fund a monthly Night of Respite and Sibs' Night for parents in Rock County who have children with autism, special needs, long-term illnesses or who are at risk of abuse or neglect.

Family Respite Care Services also received $3,000 from the Ecolab Foundation to buy adaptive technology to fit the needs, abilities and interests of children attending this program.
