Thursday, April 2, 2015

I am writing in support of Michael Haakenson for Rock County judge. Mike is most qualified to hold the position of Rock County Branch 5 judge.

He is the candidate who has judicial experience. He daily presides over hearings as Rock County Family Court commissioner. He has experience in having presided over criminal, juvenile, mental health, guardianship, probate and small-claims cases.

Prior to his appointment as Family Court commissioner, Mike was a court-appointed guardian ad litem for more than 10 years. Mike has practiced law in Rock County for more than 20 years and has extensive trial experience in criminal cases, family law matters, personal injury actions, small-claims matters and cases where children need protective services.

Mike is one who will listen to the testimony provided during trial, treat those involved with respect, carefully consider the evidence as presented, and explain his decisions in a manner that is understood. Mike Haakenson has the right judicial temperament.

I encourage all eligible voters to vote Tuesday, April 7, and join me in supporting Mike Haakenson for Rock County judge.
