BELOIT—The Midwest League finale for the Beloit Snappers and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers became a hit parade.

Each club cranked out 12 base hits. Beloit turned theirs into 11 runs to win 11-5, and four Snappers relievers held the Timber Rattlers scoreless after a rocky start for Joseph Michaud.

Clint Coulter, the Milwaukee Brewers' first-round pick in the 2012 amateur draft, homered twice off Michaud (a solo blast in the first and a two-run shot in the third) to expedite the Beloit pitcher's exit.

Sam Bragg entered in the fourth and pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win. Joel Seddon (two innings), Sam Roberts and Lou Trivino (one inning apiece) also put up zeros in their appearances.

Three Beloit players—Michael Soto, Philip Pohl and Luis Baez—homered to counteract Coulter's power.

The Snappers finished 25-44 and in last place in the Western Division of the Midwest League, 20˝ games behind first-place Kane County.
