Craig third in volleyball invite

McKenzie Bertagnoli had 41 kills and Gaby Loveland contributed 12 aces to help Janesville Craig finish third in the Gold Division of the two-day Janesville Craig Invitational on Saturday.

Green Bay Notre Dame finished first in the girls volleyball competition.

“I’m very pleased on how we played,” Craig coach Blake Budrow said. “We picked it up a notch today.”

Melanie Tinker added 70 assists for the Cougars.

Janesville Parker finished sixth in the Silver Division. First-year coach Andy Kimball said Allie Matzke’s 56 kills highlighted the Vikings’ play.
