Lake Geneva Hope Walk to help women with breast cancer scheduled for Sept. 27

LAKE GENEVA—The annual Lake Geneva Hope Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27.

The non-competitive walk is to raise money to provide financial help to women fighting breast cancer. 

Proceeds from the walk around the shores of Geneva Lake will be donated to Aurora Health Care Breast Treatment Assistance program.

The program helps educate women about breast cancer and helps cover mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women.

Distances range from five miles to 14 miles. Start time is between 7 and 9 a.m. at Library Park in Lake Geneva.

It costs $35 per person for those who register before the day of the event. Registration on the day of the walk costs $40 per person.
