Milton man arrested in Janesville on suspicion of fifth-offense drunken driving
JANESVILLE—Michael S. Terrill was being held at the Rock County Jail after being arrested on a charge of fifth-offense drunken driving Thursday morning.
Janesville police officers at 2:20 a.m. stopped Terrill's vehicle after seeing it jump a curb as he drove east onto Delavan Drive, according to a police department news release,
Terrill appeared impaired with slurred speech but denied drinking. Field sobriety tests showed signs of impairment, and a preliminary breath test confirmed the presence of alcohol in his system, according to the release.
Terrill, 34, Milton, also was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
