A rough patch in the second half cost the Janesville Parker boys soccer team Monday night.

The Vikings gave up three goals in 10 minutes and lost 4-0 at Union Grove in a nonconference match.

“We had a spell of 15 minutes where we made mistakes,” Parker coach Abilio Monteiro said. “They were better than we were, to be honest.

“In the first half, we competed and thought we were pretty even. Mistakes in the second half cost us.”

Francisco Lara made 10 saves for Parker.

The Vikings play at 7 p.m. Thursday at Middleton.
