JANESVILLE—Kenosha St. Joseph dominated the two-day Janesville Craig girls tennis invitational.

The Lancers finished 5-0 to win the team title, while Burlington, Stoughton, Watertown and Oconomowoc were 4-1.

Janesville Craig and Janesville Parker both finished 1-4.

Craig’s No. 2 doubles team of Abby Hughes and Carly McGrath finished 3-2 in the invitational.

“We swept Big Foot and Fort Atkinson in doubles, so that was good to see,” Craig coach Bill Peyer said.

“Overall, we played pretty well as a team against some real good competition. It’s still real early in the season.”

Craig hosts Beloit Memorial in a Big Eight Conference match Tuesday.
